Don't you realize that the "radicalization of Muslims" hearings are just a diversion ?

These hearings are just going to be held to divert the public's attention from the political dog fight that's going in washington over the budget. If no compromise is reached by MARCH 17 then there will literally be a government shutdown.The republicans and democrats are not willing to compromise on anything. All this has been going on and will climax next week all the while these HIGHLY CONTROVERSIAL hearings will be grabbing all of the headlines. There aren't any bigger hot button issues then terrorism. Ask yourself; why now ? why a congressional hearing ? There isn't anything these hearings will reveal that the dea, ice, fbi, cia, dept of homeland security, atf don't already know. There may not even be any lights on in the capitol building next week for these hearings so why do we need to start them right now ? I'm not downplaying the significance of our national security but, these hearings have simultaneously created a media fire storm and circus. For 6 months we've been talking about the budget and now in the most important part of the budget debate we suddenly need to address terrorism using congress? These hearings should have been held 10 years ago but, now it's priority when something historic is taking place in American poltiics. This debacle of the American legislature should not be going noticed but, it is because rep. Peter King light a fuse and ran. Now more then ever, we need to look at what our government is doing or what they aren't doing since the is no solution in sight. Republicans stormed into the congress this January promising reform but, they aren't on track to get a damn thing done. Criticism also goes out to the dems who won't table their own cuts. DON'T GET SUCKED INTO THIS POLITICAL STUNT and lose focus on the real issue which is the ugly side of American democracy
