Horse with bad habit?

yes - it sounds like either something tramatised the horse - sometimes this happens like walking into a bees nest or something on mount or dismount or snake or something or an accident - it may take years or months - i would practice ground work with the horse with another person present and figure out why - also mount and dismount on the horse eventully slowly - do it in an arena so the horse can only go so far - good luck -
