Danby Premiere portable A/C not cooling the room?

An appliance repair shop would do the repair.I would try to determine why the thermostat says the room temp is lower than it actually is. Possibly the sensing bulb is out of position or cool air is being directed in the area of this thermostat sensing bulb.These sensors would be located in the room entering air inlet. If touching the cooling coil or tubing it would be giving a false reading.
