What do all the metaphors in Revelations mean?
they aren't metaphors, they are symbols. the locusts could be referring to anything. they are released from the abyss. seven heads and ten horns refer to perfect domination. the antichrist will rule the world by ten provinces. the woman giving birth is israel.
