Question about child support&custody.?

Sorry to say that when you get public assistance, you HAVE to cooperate with child support enforcement. That being said, I doubt that this man will ever pay child support. Child Support cannot be garnished from SSI benefits, and he won't have to pay income taxes, so you won't get child support from that. I have a feeling that once the guy realizes that they cannot force him to pay child support, he won't want any visitation. Also, he would have to petition the court for visitation (child support and visitation are two separate issues and child support enforcement does not handle visitation), and he probably won't have the money to do so.
